Biography
Lyndal Hargrave is a Queensland artist working in sculpture, installation and painting. Hargrave’s core practice exploits found objects as a sculptural material, reconfigured into complex open-weave forms.
In 2010 Hargrave’s work has been short-listed in the Stan and Maureen Duke Prize, Moreton Art Awards, Clayton Utz Art Scholarship and the Noosa Travelling Scholarship.
She is currently working on a large-scale sculpture commission for the Brisbane City Council and preparing for an exhibition in Avenches, Switzerland in October 2010, as well as exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
